• Data operations suspended for the Radiation and
Indoor Environments National Laboratory (R&IENL)
– August, 2011
– Radon laboratory is a component
– Quality system (R&IENL) not in compliance with
EPA requirements
• Effective June 1, 2012, Radon Laboratory component
of R&IENL allowed to operate
• Commitment from senior managements: ORIA radon
laboratory will support the radon industry
