Cervical Screening
• As of September 2010, two CCN DHBs are
just shy (by 1% or less) of meeting the
75% target for cervical screening
coverage for their total populations. All
other CCN DHBs exceed the target.
• Rates for Maori, Pacific and Asian women
increasing at a higher rate – gap closing.
Treatment
• Radiation Oncology – consistently
meeting the 4 week wait time target
(100% receive treatment within 4 weeks)
• Medical Oncology
– all DHBs (CCDHB, MDHB, TDHB, TDH, HBDHB)
are treating patients within 4 weeks of FSA
– Variable results for wait times between
receipt of referral and FSA
