Career Development
Career development encompasses a broad range of learning and activities that
together prepare youth and adults for college and a career. The Illinois Shared
Learning Environment (ISLE) will provide access to online applications for
students and adults to use to achieve their education, career training, and job
placement goals.
Ultimately, the Career Development applications need to integrate with learning
maps, dashboards, course builders, and other tools used by students, parents,
and education and workforce professionals. Although the functions are identified
individually, it is possible that several applications exist that encompass several
