Knock-on, easy and fast
Full range of shares from 320mm, and wing shares equipment of 360 and
470mm, 80
to matching with the
C-Mix
leg only Will match with tine spacing from
200
up to
420mm
Available for the full range of
2-3-4 rows
cultivator models Polymag 2, Tinetiller mounted, and trailed Tinetiller For working depth from
3 to 35 cm
deep Large variants of deflectors and tine protection to make
more or less boiling
and match with various depth to optimise fuel consumption
Only one tine with full range of shares
• With the development of the Knock on system, one of the objective was to standardise the tines and offer a full range based on the C-Mix tine model • On this C leg, standard bolted plough shares will be available as one of the option
Lock system
• The system is based on a holder and a share locking together after having been pressed by a hammer shock.
• By using the property of good steel it is possible to create a high friction zone on a very limited surface, thus providing a very high pressure locking the share to the holder thanks to the conical shape arranged on both parts
Strong - Safe - Reliable
Fast and easy metal change
Knock-on Tools Easy Fast Solid
A good hammer and the special tool delivered with the Knock-on shares to knock-on and unlock the parts is only what is needed to work in a safe and easy way
90% Down Time Saving
• To engage a share or disengage it from the holder, it takes only few hammer knock and few seconds.
•to change 10 shares on a Tinetiller 3,00 will be taking less than
1.30 minutes
while
20 minutes
are necessary with bolted reversible shares.
When minutes become
10’’
per share
Bulb and role
• All shares are shaped with a high bulb in the centre • This zone is making the soil pressure lower onto the holder, so that the groove locking the share is protected from abnormal and fast wear.
• Therefore it is possible to be using several shares for one holder during the season and operate quick change anywhere in the field
Bulb and role
• when dry or wet soils, the metal is not wearing the same way.
Dry soil
: the bulb is playing its protecting role to the end
Wet soil
: the surface being worn more rapidly than in the length of the part, a slot will appear through the bulb telling the user to change it before it is not protecting the holder.
• in both cases the shares will keep their ability to penetrate easily in all kind of soils to the end of their life time
From full cut or true depth, using the right share at the right depth will contribute to save a lot of fuel and money

The upper part of a share system is playing a big role in the work done in terms of incorporation, power requirement and top layer profile. Humidity of the soil can also be determinant.

Agronomic & economic performances
• • • To test the Knock-on system efficiency in work, the concourse of the renown DLG in Germany was requested This partnership allowed to test a Tinetiller L equipped with various Knock-on shares and a Discpacker as rear roller.
The test protocol was including: – Mixing and levelling efficiency – Crumbling effect – Power requirement and fuel consumption
Even very shallow top layer is very flat and levelled. Incorporation is also very good with the twisted deflectors in spite the small depth
Shallow cultivation – stubbling at 3cm deep
Tinetiller L -sweep KO320mm -deflector 80 twist -levelling tines -Discpacker
Even at such a very shallow depth, the share system is ensuring a full cut of the entire working width and a perfect soil mix and crumbling remaining very flat.
Perfect top layer after one pass. Deeper cultivation with smaller share still ensuring a complete loose profile.
Deep cultivation – at 15cm deep
Tinetiler L -point KO80mm -deflector 80 twist -levelling tines -Discpacker
Very regular profile at bottom and a very small difference between before and after
Few weeks after stubbling, second pass is leaving a nice and ready seedbed with no pan!
Second pass – at 15cm deep
Tinetiller L -point 80mm -deflector 80 twist -levelling tines -Discpacker
The bottom soil profile is regular at 15cm average, and the small difference between before and after (green) is remarkable. It does also mean that the Actipack is doing the job!
The straw incorporation is very good and well dispersed over the full width and working depth.
• • • The pulling requirement of the Knock-on system is very low Average power requirement: –
per tine
is 6,4 kW or
8,7 Hp
–
per m
is 21,3 kW or
29 Hp
Fuel consumption for this 3,00m CLC pro Classic is in a good average of 10.l/ha
Technical performances
Low pulling requirement
• • • The pulling requirement of the Knock-on system is also very positive We compared with various equipment and the plough point as well as some competitors Knock-on is the easiest to pull when equipped with a protection, proving that this equipment is well adapted to deeper soil preparation

Eco-friendly
To produce 1 ton of steel,
5600.kWh
* are necessary
=
5600.kWh
* is the average power consumption of a household for 18 month.
There are 2 possible ways for saving energy when using steel: Save power when producing steel, manufacturers are developing heating systems using less energy Using less steel, as been the Vicon philosophy for many years and Knock-on is an innovation using less steel *source Siemens

Knock-on point Standard point
Eco-friendly
• Due to better design and higher heat treatment (
55 HRC
), the new point 80mm will do about the
same number of hectares
as the standard bolted plough point, this using average 200g less steel.
• 75% of the original part is used against average 60% on the standard point Therefore Kverneland and its customers can be proud of contributing saving energy by reducing the use of steel for the
same performance

Main arguments
• • • • • • • • • • • • 10” quick change system per share = 90% down time savings Easy, fast and solid design using only basic tools like a hammer User-friendly weight of parts between 1 and 2,5kg easy to handle Change of wearing metals can be made in the field in few minutes Adaptation to desired working depth can be done in the field in few minutes Fuel consumption will be optimised Breaks up soil compaction and plough pans to depths of 35cm Points designed to guarantee penetration and effective work to the end of their life time Eco-friendly, over 75% of the material will be consumed and about 200g of steel saved compared to bolted design for same performance Effective incorporation of organic matter can be fine tuned with a large choice of deflectors depending on depth, soil type, soil humidity and residues Low running costs wearing parts system Low power requirement
