What does it mean to be Lasallian?

Role of the Lasallian Animator.. To promote the Lasallian Charism.

1.

To provide Formation for faculty via: conferences, workshops, professional development opportunities, retreats + studies.

2. To offer orientation to New Faculty & Parent Community.

3. To work as a District Liason in providing District and Regional Updates and Resources to Faculty and community.

4. To work with Mission/Liturgy Committees for faith, community, service building initiatives.

5. To work collaboratively with our Oaklands’ faculty, parent and youth community members to coordinate, administer and support our school based Lasallian activities.

6. To network and build association with other Lasallian ministries globally.

   Today, the Lasallian movement encompasses 80 countries where over 4,800 De La Salle Brothers and over 80,000 lay partners serve over 900,000 students in includes 889 112 schools. In the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN), this ministries. (July 2012) Lasallian schools are characterized by a 300 -plus year tradition, founded by the Patron Saint of Education- St. John Baptist De La Salle.
