Uses for Wimba

Wimba can be used for group work, or one on one sessions with individual students. Can provide greater accessibility and accommodations You can archive events which can then be revisited. Archives can be saved to a students computer in a mp3 format, and the audio portion can then be listened to again.

Wimba is Always ready to go!

The Wimba room you set up as part of your course is always ready to use. You can enter it at ANY TIME.

     This is not a conferencing service that requires you to set up a meeting room ahead of time.

It can be used at any time, you only need to make arrangements with the participants – not the software. Everyone enrolled in your class automatically has access to the Wimba room. It can be used for impromptu meetings. Students can also use it for team work or meetings, without prior set up.
