Presentations can bring material
to life.
Use the following tips to ensure that your audience
is engaged and learns the material that PowerPoint
can convey.
Organize information in a logical way. Digital
presentations deliver if they are memorable.
Make your presentation more interactive using
thoughtful design and enthusiastic delivery.
Need a blank slide? Right click on any slide, this
brings up the Format Background menu. Click the box
at the bottom of the pop up menu that says “Hide
background graphics”
Think about adding video
or photos to make your
presentation more
interesting. These visuals
will stick in your viewers’
memory.
Use transitions between
slides to give your
presentation a professional
look. Smooth transitions
help connect content from

your audience members’
minds.

Paraphrase slides and elaborate on bullet
points when speaking. Your slides should be
more like an outline of your speech. When
you read content word for word, your
audience members are left to think they
could have read it just as well themselves.
PowerPoint allows for a wide variety of
interactive delivery techniques that increase
the viewers’ engagement with the
information in the presentation.
Design dynamic slides.
Deliver your message with
enthusiasm.
