Next steps
For many years, Philips is offering the CDM-R in both PAR20 and PAR30L editions.
Since 2008, we are offering an Elite version for CDM-R PAR30L by which we added a
premium product to our CDM-R portfolio.
This year, we are upgrading the portfolio, which will increase:
1. Lifetime, Lumens and Lumen Maintenance in the Elite range
2. Lumens and Lumen Maintenance in the CDM range
Besides these performance improvements, we now also added the Elite 50W version (in
3000K) to offer a great energy efficient solution!

FAQs…
When will this whole new generation of PAR lamps be available?
The new portfolio will be commercially available from Nov 2012.
Can these new CDM-R Elite lamps retrofit into the existing luminaires?
Yes, the new Elite lamps will replace the existing PAR lamps.
Can the CDM-R Elite PAR lamps also run on EM gear?
At launch, the new CDM-R Elite lamps will only operate on EL gear.
A development project is now running to enable EM gear compatibility for both
35W/930 and 70W/930 for both PAR20 and PAR30L.
