WHY “NO LED’S” IS IMPORTANT
Most affordable Day/Night Cameras use a chip that switches to
Black & White in low light and turns on an array of Red LED’s.
Depending on the number and brightness of the LED’s, the camera
can see anywhere from a few feet to a hundred meters or more. The
more LED”S, the more power the camera consumes and the
brighter the red glow given off.
Unfortunately, the Red Glow gives away the location of the camera to
a knowledgeable intruder, who then avoids the camera. Also, every
time the camera switches from color to black & white or back again,
there is a short whiteout or loss of image. This may be critical in a
surveillance situation.
The Clubcam, with it’s special lens and chip, never whites out. It
gives off no glow, so it is virtually invisible in the darkness. It never
misses a frame of action and it gives color images 24/7.
