In Bangladesh, HSE activities should be designed and
regulated under Factory act 65
As per Factory act 65:
The following things must be addressed under Safety:
1. Precaution in case of fire
2. Fencing of machinery
3. Work on or near machinery in motion
4. Employment of young persons on dangerous machines
5. Protection of eyes
6. Explosive or inflammable dust, gas
7. Pressure plant
8. Floor, stumps, opening in floor
Legislation
In Bangladesh, HSE activities should be designed and
regulated under Factory act 65
As per Factory act 65:
The following things must be addressed under Welfare:
1. Washing facilities
2. First aid appliances:
•1 for 150 employees
•1 Dispensary or clinic for 500 employees
3. Canteens: 1 canteen for 250 or more employees
4. Shelters or rest room: > 100 employees
5. Rooms for children: > 50 female employees
6. Welfare officer: > 500 employees
