NAOMI GOODMAN, MPH
Naomi Goodman, MPH, developed and teaches a
dance program for people living with Parkinson’s
disease. She has a dual background in yoga and
dance and holds a master’s degree in public
health. Drawing on current research, collaboration
with physicians and physical therapists, and focus
groups of people living with PD, she created and
leads an engaging program that targets the
challenges of the disease, such as rigidity, smallness
of motion, and freezing.
Naomi has been a guest speaker at the Beth Israel
"Ask the Experts" series. She has been featured on
Channel 5 Health Watch, NPR, and the front page of
the Boston Globe. She is currently working with
researchers at BIDMC on a clinical trial examining
dance as a treatment for PD.
Naomi teaches group and private lessons
throughout Massachusetts. For more information,
please contact her at [email protected] or
