01 Storage Report
The final version of the storage report (V2.2) is published.
There are no pending actions for WGWD.

02 Decommissioning Report (Oct. 14)
Status slide at the last WENRA meeting
- The NAP-actions from 3 countries have been presented
and benchmarked in WGWD33
- The status in CZ is identical with the storage SRL
situation: regulatory texts have been prepared but will
not be published before publication of new nuclear
legislation
- The NAP from ROM has been submitted but not
benchmarked so far
- BG is working on its regulations, timeline completely
open

02 Decommissioning Report (Mar. 15)
Status
- regulatory texts in CZ have been prepared but will not be
published before publication of new nuclear legislation
- The NAPs from ROM and BG will be benchmarked at
WGWD35 or 36 as new legislation/regulation is expected to come in force in the course of 2015.
- There has been an update from HU which was
discussed and accepted in the plenary.
- The present situation in WENRA-countries is documentted in part III of the final report version 2.2
- WGWD asks for WENRA approval for publication of this
final report version.

03 Disposal Report
Status
- Report was published on WENRA-homepage in Dec. 14.
- WGWD members are preparing their self assessments for
start of panel benchmarking in the Sep. 15 meeting.
- Benchmarking methodology will not be changed.
- Topical issue at WGWD 35 (2 days).
- Response from WGWD members is quite optimistic.

04 Waste Processing Report
WGWD 33:
The development of WP-SRLs will be the central topic at the
next WG-meeting. Depending on the achieved results
additional work in sub- / ad-hoc-groups is envisaged.
WGWD 34:
- Intense discussion on the scope of the report,
(i.e. whether to include spent fuel or not: yes)
- Decision on the final structure (safety areas, safety issues)
- Nomination of Sven Kessen (D) as task manager
- Many presentations of country situation reports
- Drafting of SRLs will be performed by the ad-hoc-group
during a dedicated meeting in Jun. 15 (Berlin)

05 Varia
• WGWD members consider the web-based information on
their work suboptimal. A small group was established to
optimize the web-presentation of WGWD:
(Manuela Richartz, Alena Zavazanova, Hedwig Sleyderink)
• Andrey Guskov (RUS) presented in detail the Russian
situation concerning waste management incl. disposal
and the regulatory background.
• Tamara Sushko (UKR) presented the history, present
situation and forecast of the Chernobyl Shelter Project
• Tamara Sushko explained, that the Ukrainian regulator
has used the the storages SRLs of WENRA for identifying
necessary adaptions of their regulatory system

06 Summary....
- 3 country’s representatives were missing at WGWD 34
2 observer countries was represented (RUS, UKR)
- the final version (2.2) of the decommissioning report has
been approved by WGWD
- countries are preparing the benchmarking exercise of
the disposal SRLs which are published on the website
- the work on waste processing report has been started;
a task-group will work on the SRLs before WGWD 35
- a small group of WGWD members will work on updating
the web-presentation of the WGWG incl. the archive
- WGWD 35 will take place 29. Sep.-2. Oct. in Bucarest
