The PACERS Program is an intensive mentoring and academic support program designed to help under-performing students with personal, social and academic success. PACERS provides longitudinal intervention starting during the freshman year and ending at high school graduation.

Named by the students it serves, the PACERS (Positive Achievement and Creativity Equals Righteous Success) program is a mentoring program designed to help reduce the achievement gap with underperforming students at Rock Island High School. The students come from a variety of racial/ethnic groups and varying socioeconomic conditions.
