dream a reality?
1.

from previous slides as noted. Calculate the Total. Will I need extra money with my
projected net income to survive for 6 months? This is called Working Capital.
* This is called Capitalizing a business.
Description of Capital Need
Cost of Equipment and Supplies – Slide 16

Go online to the following Loan Calculator link: http://www.vlender.com/cgi-bin/calc/simple.cgi
Insert your Total Loan Request Amount from the table above. 10% for an interest rate. 8 years as the
payback period. It will generate a monthly payment for you. Multiply that payment by 6 months.
Now go back to your Income Statement on slide 22 to if you have enough Net Income to pay the loan

Persuasive Essay
TYPE HERE: Persuade the Loan Committee with this essay. (Why should we
fund this business idea?) The Lender wants you to be successful, because
they want their money to be paid back. If you can’t persuade them that you
will be successful, they will not take the risk of giving you a loan. Have you
done your homework? Using the items from the SWOT Analysis - What
opportunities for growth are there? Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities,
Threats to your operation?
