Diagnosis: Large Full Thickness Tear of the Supraspinatus Tendon.
History: Patient with suspected rotator cuff tear.
Findings: Large full thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon is shown in
long axis. SSM=Atrophic muscle, GT=Greater tuberosity, A=Acromion.
Treatment: Surgery.

Diagnosis: Large Full Thickness Tear of the Supraspinatus Tendon (3d
imaging).
History: Patient with suspected rotator cuff tear.
Findings: Axial reformatted image obtained from 3D ultrasound data set
allows one to better delineate the complex geometry of the tear (arrows) and
estimate its area.
Treatment: Surgery.
