REQUIREMENTS
Choice #1:PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Choice #2:PHYSICAL SCIENCE/BIOLOGY BLOCK
 Students will have Physical Science 1st semester for 2
hours & Biology 2nd semester for 2 hours. (4 semesters
total)
 Students should consult with science teachers and
current counselor to make sure it’s an appropriate
placement.
 Students must have the prerequisite of Algebra 1 or a
higher math in 8th grade to be considered. *exception –
see middle school counselor

Physical Science (Intro to Chemistry, Intro to
Physics) - 1 credit (9th)
 Biology - 1 credit (10th)
 Chemistry or Physics - 1 credit (11th or 12th)

Math Graduation Requirements

4 credits/years
 Each student must minimally complete coursework through
Algebra 2.
 A math or math related course must be taken in the final
year of high school.
 High school courses taken in middle school may be used to
satisfy the MMC requirement and credits, and will be
counted towards the 22 total credits needed to graduate.
They will not be calculated into the GPA.
