The Process

• Prior to Board Meeting – Agenda file stand-alone document – All other documents located in separate file – Hyperlink from the agenda • At Board Meeting – Use multimedia system to project agenda – Update the agenda sheets with any comments and who made the motion and vote • Post Board Meeting – Save to CD 2007 Annual Conference Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation Atlanta, Georgia

Equipment Needed

• We purchased board member laptops – Some use at home – Laptops set up for board meeting • Jump drives – Others have used CD’s – Secure file transfer from board web site • Multimedia System in Board Room 2007 Annual Conference Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation Atlanta, Georgia

Implementation Issues

• Board Member Resistance – Looking at computer screen – Paging back and forth • First few times we used CD’s – How to update the files and save their notes – Getting the CD’s back to destroy • Need for Securing Data – Encrypt Files – Updating of laptops 2007 Annual Conference Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation Atlanta, Georgia
