A Central Project Management Consultant appointed for assisting
NCRB in framing Scope for national level implementation and ToR for
selection of Software Development Agency
States to appoint a State PMC
A Central PMU constituted for program management
Development of a Core Application Software
Option to state to add up functionalities on specific requirement at state
level
State to appoint SI for statewide implementation, including hardware
and customization of CAS
State to set up a State level PMU for managing implementation

State Project Management Consultants (SPMC) appointed in all
States & UTs
PIM Reports submitted by 13 States and other States to complete by
end of October
Central Project Management Unit (PwC) and Software Development
Agency (Wipro) appointed by NCRB
CPMU currently evaluating submitted PIMs
SDA has visited states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh,
Kerala, Gujarat to study best practices followed and understand
requirements
