School Placements
How can students find out about school
placements?
on-line database opened in January (updated
weekly)
students will be given a login and password
during registration time in early January
link to database on school website
noticeboard in corridor near KS4 Office

How can students make their choice?
advice from tutors/teachers/family
choose between 3 and 6 placements (enter online) – placements are not considered in rank order
check hours, transport and clothing requirements
carefully before choosing
completed by 4th February
no contact with business until placements are
confirmed

How are placements allocated?
Priority is given to students who have an
additional educational need
Other available placements are allocated by the
school, according to what has been requested.
We cannot guarantee students will get one of
their choices, but we will try to match them with a
similar alternative.
