Moving to eLearning - includes a number of Moodle sequence templates for various teaching situations, a matrix linking learning to tools and four recorded TAFE Connects sessions on learning design to support the implementation of online teaching and learning. Digital literacy – build teachers’ skills and confidence in using digital technology to deliver online training to students. Includes a self-assessment tool for teachers to help identify gaps in digital literacy skills. A range of resources for teachers and resources to prepare students for e-learning. Deliverables • Review, redevelopment and consolidation of existing sites and resources in eCommunities. • Curation of relevant resources for aggregation. • Matrix to assist teachers to use strategies and suitable tools to support learners from diverse backgrounds. TAFE eHub Communication Pack Embedding eLearning – blueprint/model & implementation Broaden the scope of the Illawarra Institute Trades PD model (Semester 1 2013) for embedding eLearning with Trades faculties. Deliverables A series of blueprints to support the following cohorts to plan, implement and embed eLearning: eCommunity. • Faculties/business line • Teaching sections • Individuals Moodle for advanced users Provide Institutes with a sample Moodle course aimed at advanced users. Deliverables • Review eCommunities Moodle sites and consolidate into Advanced site • Identify specific advanced topics required by TAFE Institutes • Collate existing resources and develop additional resources for the advanced topics. • Develop and advanced Moodle course in eCommunities. TAFE eHub Communication Pack eFacilitation Ongoing capability building in the area of eFacilitation: • Build a network around eFacilitation to share ideas in a structured manner • Update case studies with greater focus on effective completions and analytics Deliverables • Develop and pilot eFaciltation network sessions • Redevelop eFacilitation site to include the network base, case studies and associated resources and communication forum • Disaggregate resources (where possible) for use as stand-alone items and house in Equella.
