
This module has been designed for Hyderabad
Police to Automate the process and with
specific requirement to their need’s.
MANUAL PROCESS TO GET FNR






Foreigner is supposed to come to the office of FRO
thrice and the issuance of Residential Permit used to
take 7 to 10 days.
First Visit, - To collect the Application Form and other
Details.
Second visit, - For submission of the application
physically.
Third visit, - After 7-10 days, to collect the Residential
Permit.
The foreigner has to fill the form manually. If filled with
errors he has to come again.
Lot of Xerox copies required to submit application.

ONLINE PROCESS TO GET FNR
Foreigners can access the web site to know
process for registration and other information
requirements.
 Perusal of the guidelines posted at website will
enable the foreigner to know How to register
and documents need to be submitted.
 The foreigners can fill-in their application form
with relevant data online from their office or
residence. On filling all the fields of the
application, A unique number will be generated
and assigned to the applicant by the Online
Server.

ONLINE PROCESS TO GET FNR

The particulars are transmitted online to the
SBHC (Special Branch Field Officer) of the area
for a quick verification and compliance online

The foreigner visits the Office of FRO with
application form printed from online
registration. Foreigner’s digital photograph will
be captured and Scanning of VISA, Passport
and other documents and iris(optional) will be
captured, Residential Permit is handed over
within one hour on the same day.
AUTOMATION PROCESS






Each applicant will be identified by unique id(Application
Number) which is auto generated by system.
Residential Permit Number will be auto generated by
system.
Applicant can be monitored based on unique id(Application
Number) at any point of time.
Letter with applicant details can be generated on selected
dates to Inspector of Police.
The department can have access as well as update of the
latest information concerned with the entire hierarchy
involved in issuance of Residential Permit.
Various report based on parameters required by the
department will aid them getting up to date information.

OVERVIEW





Applications filled in online will be downloaded from
online server to offline server.
Offline server can be accessed by department user and
requires user name and password to access FNR
application.
Digital photo, Documents scanning like VISA, Passport
and IRIS will be maintained in offline server.
Each modification to FNR data by department user will
be saved as new record and a log is maintained with the
user name for security and tracking of data changes.
Updated Foreigner’s information with digital photo
uploaded from offline server to online server.
