By Roberto Loi
Candidate for the post of Director

FIVA’s Culture Commission is becoming more and more
important because (together with the European
Legislation, where a recall to the FIVA’s role in the
preservation of the historic vehicles’ heritage is needed)
Culture is an objective that we have set to gain more
easily our institutional goals as well as to give us an
identity more appropriate to our most elevated functions.

In my life, as well as in my profession, I’ve always been a practical person,
and my ideas to manage this commission are very substantial, oriented to
obtain solid progresses. And this is my recipe to improve FIVA’s Culture.

In general:
 Take contacts with other international cultural
institutions, like museums, to convey what
FIVA is, its significance and its activities;

 Develop the program to obtain an official
acknowledgement from UNESCO;

 Intensify and coordinate the efforts to generate
cultural activities and events, on a national
basis, cooperating with the ANFs, and
internationally, with a direct involvement of
FIVA.

Every year:
 Organize an Annual Conference about subjects deemed
by FIVA as more actual and significant;

Every three years:
 Organize an international Forum for a dialogue about
the evolution of the Historic Motoring, followed by a
publication to divulgate its contents.

With your support, I’ll work
hard to achieve these goals
and to drive FIVA towards
tomorrow.
