FBLA MEETING
Thursday, September 27th
What’s Going On..
 Blood Drive – Friday, October 12th
 Officers will sign-up anyone 17 and over who want to
donate blood. They will do so in lunches next week.
Spread the word for people to donate.
 Thank you to all who signed-up to work the blood
drive. All teachers will receive a copy of the sign-up
sheet. A copy will also be posted outside of D20 if
you forget what time slot you signed-up for.
What’s Going On..
 American Red Cross runs the blood drive.
 RLW – Regional Leadership Workshop will be held at
PVHS on Thursday, October 18th. Officers and select
FBLA members will be asked to attend. It is a limited
enrollment workshop. We are hosting it. Helpers
may be needed to help out that day. Time schedule
is noon – 5 ish.
What’s Going On..
 Community Trick of Treat Nite – BIG thing!
 Sign-up sheets available after meeting, and also will
be posted in D20. Please ask parents to make sure
you are available. You must be available from 4:00 –
8:00 – some members will be asked to stay from
after school on.
 We need members to donate bags of candy. Bring
bags of candy to D20. ½ hr of Community Service
awarded for each bag.
What’s Going On..
 Crayons are needed for the coloring station.
 Anyone that has large blow-up type Halloween
decorations that they can donate to be used that
night should contact Ms. Ruschak in D20. There will
be a sign-up sheet.
 Anyone with contacts to have items donated, such as
cases of water, hot dogs, or small bags of chips,
please talk to Ms. Ruschak
What’s Going On..
 Martin Guitar Field Trip Information will be available
next week in D20.
 Fundraisers to look for – Welch’s Fruitsnacks in late
October, possible Candles for the holiday season, PV
clothing (including PV FBLA Polos), and Poinsettias.
 Competitive Events – See brochure we are passing
out. This lists all the events. For more detail go to

What’s Going On..
 American Trauma Society – State FBLA Charity - $$$
raised so far = $1215.99
 United Way (officers have been collecting at home
football games) $$ so far = $568.25
 Way to go on the mum sale!!!!! Over 300+ mums sold!

 Members can still join – get a form and turn into D20
with the $15
