10/07/14 –

LAWA vehicle tracking system

. Request for proposal made. Dawn Hunter advised larger numbers posted on cars rejected by LAWA maintenance department. Tom Schamber stated LAWA does not consistently use flashing lights when responding to an emergency and drive too fast. AA maintenance will start logging future LAWA incidents. Cynthia asked if anyone from LAWA audits City Ops drivers. Dawn and Mario stated they have one supervisor and four vehicles on the field. Cynthia asked to be part of LAWA safety meetings.

12/02/14 –

No attendance from LAWA. John Cueto to contact LAWA to ensure regular attendance.

01/06/15 –

No Attendance from LAWA.

Update 02-03-15 –

Leadership change with LAWA. Need name of person covering T4.

03/03/15 –

Gooden and Jeff Mortz from LAWA.

Update 04/07/15 –

Will reach out to Maurice Mij requested updated contact list from LAWA. LAXPD Jose Viramontes attended meeting and advised will continue to do so for for future meetings.

Andy Garcia to meet with LAWA.

Grease storage at G42B

– Cleaning schedule requested. Dawn Hunter stated they were supposed to clean and power wash when the compactor is pulled.

. Need an interim bin when the compactor is pulled. Dawn to investigate further.

12/02/14 –

No attendance from LAWA. John Cueto to contact LAWA.

01/06/15 –

will conduct weekly walks with facilities. Bruce stated pallets are placed against water stands.

02/03/15 –

Cynthia stated a stakeholder meeting will be held with LAWA on the second Monday of the month.

03/03/15 –

Area power-washed every Monday. Will work with Host to ensure pallets are not blocking doors, fire extinguishers and water cabinets.

Update 04/07/15 –

All in agreement area in much better condition.

Item will close at next JSC meeting on May 5, 2015.

Andy Garcia to obtain quote for camera overlooking this area.

01/06/15 – Seat belts installed on equipment.

Concern whether our installed seat belts on ground equipment are certified to SAE.

Update – 02/04/15 –

Supporting paperwork attached indicating compliance with seat belt installation.

Email from Jeff Hentz sent. Mike and Bill to review email. Item will remain open.

Update 04/07/15 –

Issue escalated to a new level. response received and need to coordinate with Mike Cockerham. Labels on seat belts must be legible. Labels must stated their intended use. Need local preventative maintenance schedule. Trinda will contact Stan to identify PM inspection dates.

Update 05/05/15 –

GSE attendance required for future meetings. Not all vehicles have new seat belts installed.

New Item. Will check with Trinda for our next drill.

Open Items - Ramp

02/03/15 –

Employees stated new seating area not a good idea. Too close to electrical junction box and too small of an area. Will look into a gatehouse for a possible solution.

03/03/15 –

Gate houses at Eagle storage area may be the answer. Will drive to Eagle and evaluate.

Update 04/07/15 -

One of the two gate houses at Envoy is salvageable. Gate house belongs to Envoy.

Will work with management to move to G41. Facilities will need to address some damage inside and around the gate house.

Update – 05/05/15 –

Eagle has plans for gate house and no longer an option. There will be no plans for a gate house for the inbound area.

Chocks on the ramp –

Chock holders on connecting bag tail carts installed. All carts have hooks. Large rubber chocks on back order. Cynthia to send Stan email.

11/11/14 –

Still awaiting chocks.

01/06/15 –

New chocks arrived. Wooden chocks discarded, but some still exist.

Still a compliance issue. Bruce Baker suggests we send this to APC.

02/03/15 –

Bruce stated it is still an issue on ramp and more compliance is needed. Bruce ran over chocks recently.

Update 04/07/15 -

Ramp will continue to enforce compliance.

Update 05/05/15 –

Email sent on 05/23/15 requiring CSMs to monitor the ramp for compliance.

10/07/14 -

Vendors Parking Around Terminal –

Ramp noted concern for other vendor vehicles that park near the doors to the cafeteria (gate 42B). Sign indicates DO NOT BLOCK DOOR.

Disregard to safety. It was mentioned we should add another Satellite Automotive employee to assist with towing illegally parked vehicles. Cynthia mentioned we don’t have approval for another head.

02/03/15 –

Compliance an issue on day shift, most likely due to kitchen’s hours of operation

03/03/15 –

Will still enforce compliance in this area. It was suggested we post a G2 Guard at this area to police.

Update 04/07/15 -

Ramp will continue to enforce compliance. I’ve instructed our Ramp CSMs to monitor for compliance.

Parking at Turnstiles New item. Several complaints of vehicles parked at our employee parking lot. Vehicles are required to remain at the terminal.

04/07/15 –

Vents inside concourse need to be cleaned.

Need to determine cleaning schedule and request vents are addressed quarterly instead of once a year.

Update 05/05/15 –

AirServ provided poles to clean vents. LAWA has begun cleaning ducts. Scope of work changed quarterly instead of once a year. Vacuum with extensions are being used. Sally-Sue stated area behind ATO belts in need of cleaning.

Facilities will ensure ground rods at the terminal and hangar are in proper working condition. New Item.

05/05/15 - Drain at T6 East Side needs repair

Needs escalation to LAWA. It’s the same fix every time and a permanent repair is in order. Mij Bolyard to address.

05/05/15 – Multi-directional B757 tow bar handles

Hands are being injured when moving these handles. It creates a pinch point due to handle swings in both directions. Tow bars have been removed from the ramp and adjustments being made to handles.

05/05/15 – Sanitizing Time Clocks

Concerns over wiping down our hand sensor time clocks. Eighteen hand sanitizers have been ordered, but employees would like the clocks wiped down as well. Some comments were made referencing MRSA.

05/05/15 - G2 Parking of Lift Trucks
