Teachers' Notes:
This is a fun lesson for teaching students about author's purpose. On slide four, there is a reference to selecting a song to listen about why
authors write. The intended link is for a great song available via iTunes for $0.99. Click below to go to iTunes store to purchase. Once
downloaded, put in a file along with this lesson. Select the image on the top right of slide four, right click, link and select link to file. Browse
where your file is on your computer and link to "object". Now when you select the image, the song with automatically start playing.
Remember, the lesson SMART Notebook file and the song file have to be in the same folder in order for this to work well when selected.
