NEW PRODUCT
•
Sketches were done somewhere mid November last year;
•
When we got the green light for a new project, we have called Rob and went through a design
brief and planned time schedule;
•
Benchmark analysis has been done for most competitive boats:
•
•
•
•
•
Beneteau First 35
Dehler 35
Archambault 35
X-yacht 34
J boat 109
•
Rob with his team has done once more an outstanding job, so the actual work on plugs and
moulds started in the beginning of December 2009;
•
Currently we are waiting for the deck plug to be CNC milled and in next week we will already demould the hull;
•
Planned official launching will be at Internautica boat show – May 2010.
First renders of actual hull and deck:
Meanwhile, we were also working on different interior layouts:
Forward cabin
Sail locker +
additional cabin
(sail locker under bed)
Forward head
Bigger aft cabin
Aft head
Cockpit locker
Two aft cabins
We have decided for the following 2 cabin layout:
Installations box
Bigger aft cabin
Larger galley
Forward cabin
(sail locker under bed)
2.10m long saloon
Cockpit locker
Aft head
Navigation with
additional high locker
(garbage bin,..)
CUSTOMER BENEFITS / KEY FEATURES
Where our boat is unique?
What are the main advantages?

Rig
Chined hull
Twin rudder system
Twin wheel system
T-shaped keel
Retractable bowsprit
Adaptive interior
CUSTOMER BENEFIT - RIG:
The powerful rig has a non-overlapping headsail,
allowing the chainplates to be set out on the rail to
reduce mast compression.
With the gennaker the rig is easy to handle but a thrilling
recipe for fast offwind sailing in the breeze.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT – CHINED HULL:

Beam
3,50 m
The chines in the E350’s hull will help the boat’s tracking ability at speed and clean off the wake, giving
the boat improved high speed capability and control.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT – TWIN RUDDER & WHEEL SYSTEM:
The 350 has a broad stern for increased form stability and power, which integrates well with the twin rudder
& wheel arrangement, giving excellent control even at high heel angles.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT – T-SHAPED KEEL:
Displ.
~ 5000 kg
Ballast
~ 1390 kg
Draft
2,15 m
The keel on E350 has a very low centre of gravity for enhanced sail-carrying power, with a substantial bulb
arranged in a T-shaped geometry beneath a low wetted surface area fin. More righting moment for reduced
displacement and drag.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT – BOWSPRIT:
Retractable bowsprit for efficient asymmetric setting, bringing the centre of effort of the rig forward and
enhancing control at high speed.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT – ADAPTIVE INTERIOR:
In essence the 350 is about the pure joy of sailing, but with very
little compromise.
To this the interior offers surprising cruising comfort, giving the
boat a MULTI-DIMENSIONAL appeal and high residual value.
