Neutron Activation Analysis
• Analytical technique for qualitative and quantitative
determination of elements
• Based upon the conversion of stable nuclei into radioactive
nuclei by radiation with neutrons
• Several types of radiation are emitted but γ-radiation offers
the best characteristics for selective and simultaneous
determination of elements.
