 How
can we know about the status
of Prophet Muhammed (SAW)
when a great Prophet like Moses
fainted by seeing a small
component of Allah, while
Prophet Muhammed was called up
to have a 1 to 1 direct meeting.

 Which
is the most important
day of the week for Muslims
 Which day did Prophet
Muhammed (SAW) fast every
week.
The Prophet
Emphasized
Monday As the
Day He Was Born
Birthplace of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) Mecca
Birthplace of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) Mecca
Abu Qatada al-Ansari narrates in Sahih Muslim,
Kitab as-siyam, that the Prophet was asked about
the fast of Monday, and he answered:

"That is the day that I
was born and that is the
day I received the
prophecy."

Muslim quotes in his Sahih, the Prophet said,
“On
that day Monday I
was born and on that day
the first message was sent
to me."
What does
Quran say
about Birthdays
 The
Holy Qur’an also singles out the
birthday as an important event and
worthy of mention. In Surah Maryam
Allah tala commands us to send
salaam on the day Sayyidina
Yahya was born i.e. his
birthday.
(19:15)
Hence, [God's] peace was upon
him on the day when he was born,
and on the day of his death, and. will be
[upon him] on the day when he shall be
raised to life [again].
 19:15

 19:33
"Hence, peace was upon
me on the day when I was born,
and [will be upon me] on the day of
my death, and on the day when I shall
be raised to life [again]!"
 If
Allah Almighty is ordering mankind
to convey these salaams on to
Sayyidina Yahya (as) how can one
say it is prohibited to do the
same for the Holy Prophet (saw)
on his birthday who is the last
and greatest of all Prophets?
Why is Friday
important day for
Muslims?

Speaking of the greatness of the day of Jum`ah
(Friday), the Prophet said in his hadith:
"On that day [i.e. Jum`ah],
Allah created Adam."

This means that the day of Friday is
emphasized because Allah created Adam on
that day. That day is emphasized because it
saw the creation of the prophet and father
of all human beings.

4:174 O mankind! verily there hath
come to you a convincing proof from
your Lord: For We have sent unto
you a light (that is) manifest.
The Prophet
Accepted Poetry in
His Honor
 The
Prophet was happy with good
poetry since it is reported in Bukhari's alAdab al-mufrad and elsewhere that he
said:
"There is wisdom
in poetry."
Prophet's uncle al-`Abbas composed poetry praising the
birth of the Prophet, in which are found the following
lines:
 When
you were born, the earth was shining,
 and the firmament barely contained your
light,
 and we can pierce through,
 thanks to that radiance and light and path of
guidance
Talla
Al Badr o Allaina
Children mentioned him as Noor of Allah.
 He smiled and was happy.
 We recite Naats so that Prophet Muhammed
is also happy with us and help us increase our
love for Him (SAW)

Tala Al Badru Alaina
 Tala
Al Noor o Mubinu
 Noor o Khair il Mursaleen
 Nooro Amnin Was Salaamin
 Noorun Haqqin Wa Yaqeen
Ibn
Qayyim in Madarij al-salikin
comments that the Prophet
also gave permission to sing
in wedding celebrations, and
allowed poetry to be recited
to him.
 He
heard Anas and the Companions
praising him and reciting poems
while digging before the famous
battle of the Trench (Khandaq), as
they said: "We are the ones who gave
bay`a to Muhammad for jihad as long
as we are living."
Singing and
Recitation of
Poetry

It is established that the Prophet instructed `A'isha
to let two ladies sing on the day of `Eid. He said to
Abu Bakr:
"Let them sing, because for
every nation there is a
holiday, and this is our
holiday"
Tala Al Badru Alaina
 Tala
Al Noor o Mubinu
 Noor o Khair il Mursaleen
 Nooro Amnin Was Salaamin
 Noorun Haqqin Wa Yaqeen
The Prophet Allowed
Drum-Playing For A
Good Intention
 "One
lady came to the Prophet when he
was returning from one of his battles
and she said, "Ya Rasulallah, I have
made an oath that if Allah sends you
back safe, I would play this drum near
you." The Prophet said, "Fulfill your
oath." The hadith is found in Abu
Dawud, Tirmidhi, and the Imam
Ahmad.
Children
and girls played
Duff when Prophet
Muhammed (SAW) came to
Medina from Mecca.
Bidaa: Reality
and the Trap
Bidaa
Use and Abuse

Innovations??
 "Whosoever
introduces a new belief in
our religion which contradicts with it is
rejected." He also said
"Beware of innovations, for
every innovation (Kullu
Bid'at) is misguidance."

"He who sets a good precedent in Islam,
there is reward for him for this (act of
goodness) and a reward for him also who
acts according to it subsequently, without
any deduction from their rewards and he who
sets in Islam an evil precedent there is upon
him the burden of that, and the burden of
him also who acts upon it subsequently,
without any deduction from their burdens."

Kalimas
 Imaan-e-Mujmal and Imaan-eMufassal
 Fasting open and breaking prayers
 Zakat in current currency
 Traveling in cars, buses, trains,
airplanes for Hajj
It is narrated by Abu Huraira in
Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 32,
Number 227:

Hazrat Umar (R.A) saw people
praying individually during night of
Ramadan, he made up his mind to
arrange them in one group behind
one Imam for congregational prayers.
 Thus
Salatu Tarawih started by Umar
(R.A) while it was not ordered or
performed by our beloved prophet.
Hazrat Umar (R.A) clearly says
'what an excellent Bid'aa (i.e. Bidaatul
Hasana) this is’.
