 POC with vOptimizer Pro
– After total scan of the datacenter vOptimizer Pro reported back that
nearly 100 TBs of recoverable storage was located in a single data
center within VM’s that had over 80 %of empty storage
– $1,074,000 USD of storage savings were made in the first DC
100 TB wasted storage * $10,740 USD per TB = $1,074,000 USD
– Additional savings were clear – the prospect could not buy any more
storage without building a data center – this would have been many
millions of dollars
– It was estimated it would take 5 man years of their people’s time to
