Things to Think About
 Some universities outside of Ontario may not consider
more than one grade 12 U or M credit from the same
subject area
 Some Eastern Canadian universities may not consider M
courses or courses in Technology/ Social Science/
Business/Art.
Myths Corrected
 Universities DO NOT CARE whether you have extra
college, open or workplace credits on your record –
only that you have a minimum of 6 grade 12 U or M
courses
 RESEARCH pre-requisites for university: many
programs DO NOT require grade 12 math
 You can stay in high school for more than four years to
complete required courses, to study courses required
for post-secondary or to take co-op.
