atmosphere
• Syllabi serve as a vital function in
accreditation process

• Components & uses of syllabi:
• 1-Structural : good course create an
effective form for both students &
staff allowing all parties to recognize where
do they need to go , what they need to do
• Dates for seminars ,papers , exams
readings etc..
• 2-Motivational:In introducing syllabus :
encounter ingrained beliefs :
• Students are powerless to affect
what happens to them
• Hard work will not pay off
• Success is due to luck
• Failure is due to circumstances beyond their
control
• Motivate students to active participation in
learning process through preparation ,
assignments
• Relieve anxiety about exam , failure

• Students may be asked to sign that they
