Homework/Cell
Phone Policy
Homework will be posted on the class
website and sent via Remind101 daily.
If the homework is not posted you should e-mail
the teacher.
CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED in class for
any reason. If you are caught using a cell phone
it will be confiscated and your guardian/parent
will need to pick it up in the front office.
We will be using the Holt
Elements of Literature
Second Course Textbook
along with various short
stories and a few novels
(to be announced as the
school year progresses).

and/or
e-mail messages with reminders,
homework assignments, and other class
information.
When you sign up, remind101 will not
share your phone number/email address
so everything stays private!
All Remind101 notifications can also be
viewed on the class website without
enrolling in the service.
Extra Help
If a student is having trouble they should
speak with the teacher as soon as possible.
The teacher will work with the student to
schedule time for extra help. Extra help is
available before and after school but parentteacher contact is necessary to ensure that
transportation is available.
