Coexistence With Previous Version of Office Coexistence with previous versions of Office (2003, 2007, 2010) is supported but not recommended Common issues in coexistence state arise around shared extension points (such as file type associations) for which there can be only one owner Previous versions of Office Switching between different versions may cause a repair to be triggered to retake these extensions

Repairing Online Repair Rollback Local repair that fixes file type associations, shortcuts and other extensions Remove and then reinstall Office 365 ProPlus from the latest build available on the CDN using default settings Use the OfficeC2rClient.exe to update/downgrade to a defined build version.
