The Selfish Giant.

Chapter One

2 The garden is very beautiful, it has a soft grass and many coloured 1 The children go and play in the giant’s garden every afternoon, after school.

Chapter two

2 The poor children run away frightened by his shouts. Then he builds a high wall all around his garden and now they have nowhere to play.

1 One day the giant comes back and he doesn’t like that the children are playing in his garden: he is very egoist.

Chapter three

2 The giant is warried because in his garden is always winter.

One morning he hears a bird’s song he thinks it’s a very lovely music because spring has come back and he goes to the window… 1 When the spring arrives, in the giant’s garden is still winter because spring doesn’t want to go into it because the giant is too selfish; the snow and the frost are happy

Chapter four

2 The giant helps that child and the spring arrives also on that tree; so he knoks down the wall.Every evening the children go to the giant to say good bye. But there isn’t the little child The giant looks for him but nobody knows 1 And he sees many children who are coming into the garden through a little hole in the wall A little child is sitting in every tree, but a little boy can’t climb up on the tree and on

Final Chapter

2 The child says: << theese are marks of love>> and << you let me play in your garden, today you are coming with me in my garden>>

1 One day, when the giant is old, the famous child goes to the garden and the giant sees he has got the marks on the hands and on the feets
