- Daily Handwriting
- Daily ‘Letters and Sounds’
- Reading at least twice a week
- PE on Wednesday AM and Thursday PM
Celebrating Success!
• We celebrate our behaviour (house points, sunshine and
grumpy cloud slips)

We celebrate our work (apples and apple certificates)
• We celebrate our successes outside of school
(e.g. swimming certificates, dance medals)
KS1 Assembly on Wednesday/ Tuesday afternoons

‘Homework Learning Books’
Expectations:
‘Home Learning’ will be given out on a Friday and
will be returned by the following Wednesday.
Reading at home five times a week – The week
begins on the day your child reads with their
teacher.
Tasks include:
• ‘Letters and Sounds’ – practising sounds &
spellings for example.
• Weekly Maths Books – Only one session.
• ‘Creative Challenge’ (x 3 per year)
T1 – Family Tree T 3 – A structure
