• In spite of recession, Internet continues to grow
• Broadband Internet creates new business for embedded
industry
• Service and Solution oriented design is a key to win
• Need more time to market effort with
– Proper use of IP and design methodologies
– High Level design becomes more important for System LSI
– Software Project can be a pitfall of development project
• Semiconductor market, hopefully, may recover Q3 in 2002
• Exhibition such as ET is a barometer of the industry activities
• Thailand is a big candidate for collaboration with Japan
