Strategic Objectives

To reduce earthquake and landslide risk in Europe and worldwide,
with prevention and mitigation measures

To increase the scientific and technological knowledge in the fields of
earthquake and geotechnical engineering

To coordinate national seismic risk management organisations and to
develop models for the next generation of technical codes

To capitalise on the existing centres of excellence and to transfer
advanced knowledge to emerging centres
