A structure is also known as a Formation.
It is how your team is set up e.g 4-4-2 in
football
A basketball specific offence example would
be a 1-2-2 or a 1-3-1 Motion Offence.

A strategy is more simply known as a Game
Plan
This is a plan of action, that is devised before
an activity begins. This can be adapted at any
time (Plan B,C,D)
For example a footballing strategy may be to
adopt either Zonal or Man to Man Marking.


Drive up to the centre of the court and the
bounce pass (Transition Phase)


towards the basket for the lay-up shot.
