THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CPI
• Established in 1995 by
− Ministry of Education, Science and Sport
− Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs
− Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia
− Chamber of Craft of Slovenia
• VET system needed a central institution
that can co-ordinate and assist all the
activities within vocational education

• CPI is a public institut which performs
research, developmental and advisory
activities
• CPI is the place where national interests
and interests of social partners in VET
converge, coordinate and connect
