What is NX?
 NX is a software used in the broad area such as product design, developing
process and manufacturing. Main modules of NX are solid & feature
modeling, assembly modeling, drafting, freeform modeling and NX
knowledge fusion author.

Minimum recommended specifications (NX 9 ver.)
Following specifications are recommended for NX 9 installation
OS
Windows 7 64bit
CPU
Intel i5 or i7 multiple core
Memory
4GB
VGA
Refer supported graphics file*
* You can download at the http://nsl.gist.ac.kr/Intranet/Instruments.html
* You can use GeForce series and Intel CPU HD Graphic series.
But it is not supported.

Install procedure
1.
Select ‘Install NX’

Select the install language => ‘English’ or ‘Korean’

Select next button at the ‘Install Shield Wizard’

Select ‘Typical type’ and click the next button

Establish the install route and put next button

Write MECHA-PC instead of xxxx. (
License Server – 28000@MECHA-PC )
Then, put next button

NX language selection => ‘English’ or ‘Korean’ and next

Select install button after checking the install information

Wait until installation is done
10. Click finish button after install completing

Patch (NX9.0.x will given)
1.
Run a NX 9.0.x Launch.exe and select ‘Install NX Update’
2.
Wait until ‘계속하려면 아무 키나 누르십시오…’ on the dos. After then,
you can quit dos

Error
1.
Start and check the NX after finishing installation. When you see the
following pop up while stating NX, then do following actions.

Click ‘Start – Program – Siemens NX 9.0 – NX 라이선스 도구 –

Select NX Academic Perpetual License which is consist of ‘3d to 2d
flattener’ and ‘adv_assemblies’ and etc . And click ‘적용’ button

And after doing all of them, restart NX program. When you see the figure
5, then all of the NX installation is done.

Put new Documentation CD and select ‘Install Documentation’
2.
Click next button at ‘Install Shield Wizard’

Materials
 We have following materials
• NX Installation and Documentation CDs
• Installation guide (pdf file)
• Two books and pdf file of basic training manual
• Movie files of NX example
 These are keeping in 3D Micro-manufacturing Laboratory.
 All of them are managed by Jun Hee Choi who is M.S in 3DML. If
someone want to install NX, then come to our lab and ask to Jun Hee
 All ISO files (Install & Documentation) are in the
\\TFSSERVER\Utility and etc\유틸리티\

 SPACE solution warranties this software without charge for a period of
a year from date of purchase. SPACE solution warranties following
maintenance

New Version Upgrade

S/W Technique and error support (On cable, On remote)
 There are no implied warranties of S/W except above maintenance
 Warranty is valid from 2014.10.01 to 2015.09.30
