Description
GSM generates a sales gas forecast by allocating
the demand of multiple contracts among several
pools according to their deliverability. The gas
supply from each pool is determined by
deliverability decline.

The principal use of the program is to generate a
multi-pool gas forecast based on each pool’s
deliverability and the total gas contract demand
including demand from direct sales.
The deliverability of each pool is determined
using standard deliverability decline analysis.
Pool pressure is calculated based on the
cumulative production and the Initial Gas in
Place.
