• High-level business, institutional and civic leadership.
• Voluntary effort with no regulatory authority. Private
meetings to encourage candor and peer to peer
interactions.
• Two meetings per year, with Working Groups active
between meetings.
BOSTON GREEN RIBBON COMMISSION
Mission: Convene leaders from Boston’s key sectors to
support the City’s Climate Action Plan.
• Advise Boston on the implementation of its Climate Action Plan
• Advocate within key sectors to align sector strategies with
Climate Plan goals
• Highlight best practices within and across sectors

 McKinsey benchmarking study
 Dashboard for Climate Plan implementation items
 Metrics for GHG goals
• Launch the communications strategy
• Develop a long-term business design for the Commission
