Lesson 13 for the 27th of
December, 2008
God achieves universal harmony eradicating evilness with a fair
judgment which is checked by all the parts involved and executed.
1st step: A universal judgment, which is being
executed now.
2nd step: He separates the saved ones and the
condemned ones in the Second
Coming.
3rd step: The holies judge during the millennium.
4th step: He judges the condemned ones in the
Third Coming.
5th step: Evil is completely eradicated.
6th step: Universe is restored to its perfect
harmony.
According to Daniel, 7: 9-14, 21-22, 25-26 and Daniel, 8: 12-14,
judgment starts at the end of the 2,300 years prophetic period, in 1844.
This judgement ends just before the Second Coming of Jesus.

E.G.W. (The great controversy, chapter 28, page 491)
“When the work of the
investigative Judgment closes,
the destiny of all will have been
decided for life or death.
Probation is ended a short time
before the appearing of the Lord
in the clouds of heaven. Christ in
the Revelation, looking forward
to that time, declares:
“I saw angels hurrying to and fro in
heaven. An angel with a writer's
inkhorn by his side returned from the
earth and reported to Jesus that his
work was done, and the saints were
numbered and sealed. Then I saw
Jesus, who had been ministering
before the ark containing the Ten
Commandments, throw down the
censer. He raised His hands, and
with a loud voice said. "It is done."
And all the angelic host laid off their
crowns as Jesus made the solemn
declaration :
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he which is filthy,
let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be
righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And,
behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every
man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22: 11-12)
The Father, the just Judge, the Ancient of Days.
The Son, as solicitor and judge.
The holy angels.
The non-fallen worlds.
Guilt or innocence of each
person.
“For God shall bring every
work into judgment, with every
secret thing, whether it be
good, or whether it be evil”
(Ecclesiastes, 12: 14)
Guilt of fallen angels.
God’s justice dealing
with sin.
“For if God did not spare
angels when they sinned, but
sent them to hell, putting them
in chains of darkness to be
held for judgment” (2 Peter, 2: 4 NVI)
“That thou mightest be
justified when thou speakest,
and be clear when thou
judgest” (Psalms 51: 4)
Salvation or condemnation for
each person will be already
decided in the Second Coming
of Jesus.
“Behold, I come
quickly; and my
reward is with me, to
give every man
according as his
work shall be”
(Revelation, 22: 12)
We’ll be transformed, with a glorious and
immortal body.
Our being will be removed from the presence
of evil in all its forms.
We will ascend to heaven with Jesus.
We could be physically with our Saviour.
We will live a thousand years in heavenly
dwellings that Jesus is preparing for us.
“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the
peoples of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the
clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels
with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds,
from one end of the heavens to the other ”. (Matthew, 24: 30-31)
They are destroyed by the glimpse of His Coming.
“Then shall they that obey not the gospel
be consumed with the spirit of his mouth,
and be destroyed with the brightness of
his coming (2 Thessalonians 2: 8). Like Israel of
old, the wicked destroy themselves; they
fall by their iniquity. By a life of sin, they
have placed themselves so out of
harmony with God, their natures have
become so debased with evil, that the
manifestation of his glory is to them a
consuming fire”.
E.G.W. (The great controversy, chapter 1, pages 37-38)
They will remain alone on the
desolated Earth for a thousand
years
“And I saw an angel coming down out
of heaven, having the key to the
Abyss and holding in his hand a great
chain. He seized the dragon, that
ancient serpent, who is the devil, or
Satan, and bound him for a thousand
years. He threw him into the Abyss,
and locked and sealed it over him, to
keep him from deceiving the nations
anymore until the thousand years
were ended. After that, he must be set
free for a short time” (Revelation, 20: 1-3)
“Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the
saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints
possessed the kingdom” (Daniel, 7: 22)
“And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have
followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the
throne of his glory; ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel” (Matthew, 19: 28)
“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the
world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the
smallest matters?” (1 Corinthians, 6: 2)
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was
given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded
for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had
not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received
his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived
and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation, 20: 4)
Because no doubt must remain about divine justice.
“Then I saw thrones, and Jesus and the redeemed saints sat upon
them; and the saints reigned as kings and priests unto God. Christ, in
union with His people, judged the wicked dead, comparing their acts
with the Statute Book, the Word of God, and deciding every case
according to the deeds done in the body. Then they meted out to the
wicked the portion which they must suffer, according to their works;
and it was written against their names in the book of death. Satan
also and his angels were judged by Jesus
and the saints. Satan's punishment was
to be far greater than that of those
whom he had deceived. His suffering
would so far exceed theirs as to bear no
comparison with it. After all those whom
he had deceived had perished, Satan was
still to live and suffer on much longer”.
E.G.W. (The story of redemption, chapter 63, page 416)
Sinners would have no chance of
defence before God’s justice if
there was definitive destruction
in the Second Coming.
Satan and the sinners have to
understand and to accept the
judgment.
Satan and his angels have some time to reflect on the
consequences of their works in the great controversy, to
assume them and to accept the justice of God’s judgment.
It will help the Universe reconciliation .
“Here is to be the home of Satan with his evil
angels for a thousand years. Here he will be
confined, to wander up and down over the broken
surface of the earth and see the effects of his
rebellion against God's law. For a thousand years
he can enjoy the fruit of the curse which he has
caused. Limited alone to the earth, he will not have
the privilege of ranging to other planets, to tempt
and annoy those who have not fallen. During this
time Satan suffers extremely. Since his fall his evil
traits have been in constant exercise. But he is
then to be deprived of his power and left to reflect
upon the part which he has acted since his fall, and
to look forward with trembling and terror to the
dreadful future, when he must suffer for all the evil
that he has done and be punished for all the sins
that he has caused to be committed”.
E.G.W. (The story of redemption, chapter 63, pages 414-416)
Each sinner will be judged by his works, according to
the thoughts of his own heart. No-one could claim
innocence before these accusations. Everybody will
have to accept the rightness of the judgment .
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that
sat on it, from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them. And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were opened:
and another book was opened, which is the book
of life: and the dead were judged out of those
things which were written in the books,
according to their works. And the sea gave up
the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and
they were judged every man according to their
works. And death and hell were cast into the
lake of fire. This is the second death. And
whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire“
Revelation, 20: 11-15
When the holy angels, the
non-fallen worlds, the saved
ones, Satan, the fallen
angels and those who won’t
have been redeemed will
understand and accepted
the just judgment, the
written Word will be fulfilled:
“Unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear”
(Isaiah, 45: 23)
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things
in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”
(Philippians, 2: 10)
Sin will be
eradicated forever
and will never return
when the
destruction of the
impious.
“What do ye imagine against the Lord? He
will make an utter end: affliction shall not
rise up the second time”
(Nahum, 1: 9)
“After the judgment of the wicked dead had been
finished, at the end of the one thousand years, Jesus
left the city, and the saints and a train of the
angelic host followed Him. Jesus descended upon a
great mountain, which, as soon as His feet touched
it, parted asunder and became a mighty plain.
Then we looked up and saw the great and beautiful
city, with twelve foundations and twelve gates, three
on each side, and an angel at each gate.
We cried out, "The city! the great city! It is coming
down from God out of heaven!" And it came down in
all its splendor and dazzling glory, and settled in the
mighty plain which Jesus had prepared for it”.
E.G.W. (The story of redemption, chapter 63, pages 416-417)
“The cross of Christ will be the science and
the song of the redeemed through all
eternity. In Christ glorified they will behold
Christ crucified.
Never will it be forgotten that He whose
power created and upheld the unnumbered
worlds through the vast realms of space, the
Beloved of God, the Majesty of heaven, He
whom cherub and shining seraph delighted
to adore--humbled Himself to uplift fallen
man; that He bore the guilt and shame of sin,
and the hiding of His Father's face, till the
woes of a lost world broke His heart and
crushed out His life on Calvary's cross…
E.G.W. (Maranatha, December 20)
…That the Maker of all worlds, the Arbiter of
all destinies, should lay aside His glory and
humiliate Himself from love to man will ever
excite the wonder and adoration of the
universe. As the nations of the saved look
upon their Redeemer and behold the eternal
glory of the Father shining in His
countenance; as they behold His throne,
which is from everlasting to everlasting, and
know that His kingdom is to have no end,
they break forth in rapturous song: «Worthy,
worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and hath
redeemed us to God by His own most
precious blood!»”.
E.G.W. (Maranatha, December 20)
