Kanchansobha Finance Private Limited was incorporated in the year 1991 for
the purpose of investment and advisory services. It has become full fledged
investment banking company from April,2012.
Kanchansobha is focused on Fund Raising (both Debt and Equity), Merger &
Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory (Growth Plan and Corporate
Restructuring) and Management Consultancy.
At Kanchansobha, we understand our clients’ requirements. We work closely
with our clients and support them in their growth strategies and also arrange

combined work experience of over 5 decades in the diversified areas of

Mr. A.P. Verma – Chairman (Advisory Board)
Mr. Verma joined SBI as Probationary Officer in 1975 after doing masters in
liberal arts.
In his career spanning more than 35 years, some of the recent assignments held
by him in State Bank of India are as under:
a) Head of Corporate Accounts Group (CAG) unit for Eastern India
b) General Manager at International Division
c) President and Chief Operating Officer –SBI Capital Markets Limited
d) Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer –SBI Capital Markets Limited
e) Deputy Managing Director & GE Mid Corporate
f) Deputy Managing Director & Chief Compliance Risk Officer
After superannuation, he was engaged by State Bank as advisor till July2012.
Currently, he is on the advisory board of a few domestic and multi- national
companies in manufacturing, services and financial sectors.

Mr. V. K. Jain – Managing Director
Mr. V.K. Jain is a Chartered Accountant. He has worked for over 30 years with
Birla Group, Nath Group, S. Kumars Group and MW Corp Group in various
capacities mainly as Senior Executive Director in Nath Group, CFO of S.
Kumars Group and Managing Director of Entegra Limited.
Mr. Jain has handled large mergers and acquisitions and advised large
corporates on business development, expansion, treasury management, raising
of term loans, raising of equity through private and public issues and raising of
mezzanine funding. He was actively involved with implementation of large
hydro project, development of solar project and was associated with various
industries including shipping, paper, chemicals, textile and infrastructure.
He has dealt with most of the Banks and Institutions, Private Equity, Public
Mutual Funds, FIIs to meet the requirement of various projects. He has
handled many large corporate debt restructuring and turn around cases
successfully.
Mr. P. Sanyal– Director

Mr. Sanyal has 34 years of expertise in various areas of banking industry. He
has Served as Managing Director & Director in subsidiary companies of
STCI FINANCE LTD. (Formerly known as Securities Trading Corporation of
India Ltd.: STCI-PD, STCI Commodities, Standard Chartered-STCI Capital
Markets Ltd. & Indo Gulf Financial Services (Bahrain).
He has also worked with Bank of India as General Manager in charge of
Human Resources at Corporate Head Office, General Manager & Zonal
Manager of Mumbai South Zone, General Manager Credit at Corporate Head
office of the Bank etc.
Mr Ram Kanoongo – Director
Mr. Kanoongo has more than 20 Years experience in a wide spectrum of
services as Merchant Banking, Investment Banking, Primary and Secondary
Market operations, Wealth Management, Risk Management, Loans syndication
and advisory services in the field of Finance, Admin and HR. He is a qualified
CA and carries a Diploma from IIM.
Mr. Sunil Hirawat – Director
Mr. Sunil Hirawat is a member Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
and is a leading tax advisor. He has over 25 years of experience in Audit,
Taxation and Company Law. He has been representing various companies
before Income Tax Appellate Authorities and Tribunal.

Mr N.R. Agrawal is a Fellow Chartered Accountant having over 35 year of experience

Mr. Nutan Goyal –Vice President
Mr. Nutan Goyal is a MBA and has been dealing with Banks and Institutions for Term
