Simple AI verbs
Animate intransitive AI
• These are words were something animate does
something by his or her self.
• Example I eat, I sit, I will go, I did read, I will
write etc.
• Wisne- he/she eats, maji-he/she leaves, wawijgehe/she reads,kikto-he/she talks,kedo-he/she
says etc.
Most AI verbs fall into this pattern so become
familiar with it.
• There are some AI verbs which are a little
different including those that start with y or w.
• Also there are a couple that lose the last e or o.
• We will discuss these in future lessons but right
now we will give you a number verbs which fit
the pattern. Pay special attention to the
highlighted portions.
