more than 80 years of history: Faculdade de Engenharia is the largest school
of Universidade do Porto, and has significant autonomy; since 2000, feup has
moved to a brand new campus, just outside the city centre, in eastern Porto,
Portugal.

we put our money where our knowledge is: a 90.000m² campus, with excellent
infrastructures. The campus conveys a 8-floor library with 500 reading spots and
work cabinets, 9 departments, 25 computer rooms equipped with 500 computers,
among other facilities and class rooms;

it’s all been worth it: with a total investment of 8 million € in the last years feup
has kept a steady pace towards excellence and innovation, namely: dozens of
spin-offs, active or pending patent and brands, and R&D units which involve 80%
of the faculty;

muscle, the Organic PreStressing System is a set of cables, hydraulic jacks,

Launched on the Portuguese market in 2007, the new Super Bock alcohol-free
beer is the result of an innovative patent pending production process,
developed in a partnership of Unicer with the Chemical Engineering department
of the School of Engineering (FEUP). This new process keeps all the original
flavour of the beer with the convenience of a 0º alcohol graduation.
