The Akbaraly Foundation
Founded in 2008 The Akbaraly Foundation is a multi-pillared organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of women in Madagascar and, through them, contributing to the development of the country. Our goals are focused on measurable, sustainable, actionable activities that will improve the health and quality of life for women and their families .
4 A WOMAN “CARE FOR WOMEN, LIFE FOR A COUNTRY” 4AWoman has been developed principally to fight the increase in breast and cervical cancers in Madagascar. Breast and cervical cancers have the highest rates of incidence and mortality among women in Madagascar, accounting for 58.3% of all cancers affecting Malagasy women, according to GLOBOCAN statistics
• We have set up our project in 3 mains regions of the island . • Currently 2 programmes are running in the North and in the South .
