The New Concept
Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

The HRA concept enables the employer to
take a higher deductible plan and make a
contribution to a medical reimbursement plan
for each employee.

The HRA funds are then used to offset the
high deductible at any level the employer
wants.

The HRA concept enables the employer to
limit the eligible expenses to Core Health
Benefits only or open it up to all Section 213
eligible expenses.

No “use it or lose it” the account can roll at
the year end.

In most cases this can be done for less cost
than the current plan.


Employee first dollar benefits with
cost sharing in every claim

The HRA concept enables the employer
to set a reimbursement percentage limit.

By limiting the reimbursement the
employee receives a benefit with each
incurred expense but also share’s in the
cost.
Note: If set at the correct percentage, the
employee will satisfy the entire Deductible
when they have used all of their HRA
funds.
