Brief Description
• Simulated civil or criminal trial
• Appear as counsel for plaintiff or defendant
• Opening statements by counsel, examination in
chief, cross-examination summation and closing
statements

Brief Description
• Two students given 30 minutes to interview a client
who has been briefed on a fact situation
• Purpose is to obtain all relevant information

Paper Presentation
Brief Description
• Written paper on any topic of a legal nature
• Submitted to a panel of judges
• Questioned on paper’s content before panel
• 3000 – 5000 words
