Voltage Graph

In above graph we can see the voltage fluctuation this may be due to use external energy source like generator or ups or main line. If main line in use then we can find the trends that the load at that time is high on the locality. © embuilt technologies

Voltage Graph 2

In this You can see the maximize graph. Voltage fluctuation and also voltage absence is shown in this graph. It shows the voltage supply is absence between 5:00 to 06:30. So, may be your production will be stopped at this time. The voltage presence and absence called a event and it is available on server. You can also notify for it by SMS and EMAIL.

Voltage Analysis

 The graph shows the values of average voltage.

 You can see the voltage fluctuations and also the values at any point .

 The voltage fail is also shown so you will know what is the trend of voltage presence at these time.  Set alarm and event for voltage high and low values.

 You will get notified by SMS and EMAIL for events and alarms.

Voltage Analysis

 Low voltage can heat up your machines if using no data logger you will not know if machine burn after some time.

 You will know the faulty supply source.

 If using generators , ups than it is good equipments for their monitoring.

 Can download all data an make strategy for energy consumption based on the report and graph.

Current Graph

In above graph the variation of load is shown. The devices which are running are taking different power at different time it may be because of any machine fault or the load on the machine is vary. © Embuilt Technologies

Current Graph 2

This graph shows the current trends between 12:30 to 15:00. The current is zero at 13:00 ,It represent that all the equipments get off, its may be due to supply abruption or may be all employees are taking lunch if this its good that no equipment is running for free time. For critical machinery you can note that the machine is off between that time and your production is off so you can take actions for which reason the machine goes turn off.

Current Analysis

 The previous graph shows the total current variations in three phase.

 The current fluctuation is shown which shows the load current consumption.

 In graph on 15:45 current value is high which shows at that time maximum load is present.

 You can limit the current value by switch off some appliances when current exceeds the limit.

 Set alarm to limit value of current and get notified by SMS and EMAIL.

Current Analysis

 You will know when your machine goes turn off and on and calculate its on duration on excel file.

 If current consumption is high at any time you will be notified by SMS and EMAIL.

 It also shows that your machine has fault may be it is heated and some part take high energy.

 You can generate machine energy consumption report and send to maintenance so they will easily know the problem.

Watt Graph

This shows the load pattern. If GML-3 used at any critical machine the sudden high change in wattage shows the external load on machine is high or machine has any fault. Some machines have load limit so this will be shown here.

Watt Analysis

 Previous graph shows the real time and previous time energy consumption in wattage.

 Wattage changes continuously which shows that equipments are not taking the full energy continuously.

 You can manage the energy wastage by turn off some equipments or using equipments which takes less power.

 Example using laptops besides computer may save electricity, turning off printers and equipments which are not in use.

Power Factor Graph

The above graph shows the good PF, means there is very less power wastage. The idle PF is 1. but the good power factor for real application is around above 0.8 . If device with low power factor used ,it will take higher current and require larger wire. For linear loads such as induction motor PF can be optimized using network of capacitor and inductor. Here PF is zero at starting because at no load the PF will be show zero.

Power Factor Analysis

 Previous graph shows the power factor which indicate the difference between actual power used and waste power in form of reactive energy.

 PF should above 0.8 when load is on for industrial sector otherwise penalty can be put by Kesco.

 Graph shows the power factor is around 0.9 it shows very less power is wastage.

 You can improve power factor using APFC panel.

 Can set alarm for low PF ,so you will be notify by SMS and EMAIL.

Frequency Graph

The graph shows the frequency variation. In India equipments are made for 50 Hz supply. So sources with high frequency are not compatible in India. In the above graph frequency is around 50 Hz which variation is low , so it is good for equipments to get power in form of voltage and current.

Frequency Analysis

 The frequency of voltage should be around 50 Hz.

 It shows the frequency is around 50 Hz which is good for equipments and also heavy machines.

 Some energy sources may give voltage at low frequency so you will know at what frequency they are producing voltage.

 Can set alarm for frequency so you will be notified by SMS and alarm.

Energy Data in CSV/EXCEL

How to use energy data

 The data in excel file can be downloaded on www.emdata.in

.

 This shows the energy data of GML-3 with sample rate of 1 minute.

 You can find maximum, minimum, and also average values for your parameter.

 Can generate graph.

 Calculate the minimum voltage time, maximum voltage time and also the other parameters filter values.

 Two files will be generated online which you can download.

 First file contains voltage ,current, wattage, pf and frequency.

 Second file contains KWh, KVAh, KVARh.

 All values are with date and time.

 Can be used with other softwares to generate different charts.

Event Management

Event Analysis

 Shows every event on www.emdata.in

 Event will be updated on real time.

.

 Events are logged with date and time.

 Unlimited events can store on server.

 GML-3 meter itself save 100 latest events in his memory.

 Set production rate or machine fault according to events.

GML-3 working

Advantage of GML-3 over manual system

 GML-3 measures data and logs data at fix time.

 It can be installed at any place where human can not go to take readings.

 No mistake in take reading ,but human can mistake to take reading, such as taking reading from a thermometer scale.

 It can easily generate graph.

Benefits of GML-3 over Traditional EMS systems

 The cost of GML-3 is low comparison to other EMS systems.

 The GSM technique is used for data logging, so no wire is used to access data.

 No need of computer running for 24 hours for data logging.

 Installation complexity is reduce, so anybody can install it at any location.

 Can access from anywhere in the world.

Applications

 In industries for critical machine monitoring system.

 Energy management system.

 Cold chain monitoring.

 Weather station.

 small and medium scale energy monitoring.

 Energy saving field.
